My friend's soon-to-be 100 year old grandma would like to celebrate her birthday by coming to the show on March 4th - anyway to get her VIP treatment?

Health Care & Drug Policy Reform sounds like a pack of Hyenas fighting over a dead Zebra. As long as we view Health Care as necessary for our indiscretions, costs will continue to spiral…
Wellness is a Buzz word, disabling dialog. I’m well at 65 because my mother made me to treat my wounds myself. Fed me wholesome food and encourage outside play. My work was contract labor. Got paid for what I did. So, ate 5 small meals a day to avoid non-paying down time. After Viet Nam reengagement was difficult. Drugs use brought me down after 12 years. Asian Health Alternatives, acupuncture & more. woke me to body awareness. Today, when I eat food my body can t process, I puke, friendly like. I question everything offered by a Doctor. Some acknowledge my alternatives are acceptable and tear up the ’Script. Others are amazed I’m Not dead. I adjust downwards the few meds I do take. Always looking for natural means to take their place.
Bottom Line: LOVE yourself and do no harm…NAMASTE

I just gave my wriststrong bracelet to Eric Martin! The lead singer and songwriter of Mr. Big! Eric could show Stephen a few things about singing a rock ballad. No offense Stephen but I bet Charlene could never resist him. You should have him coach you on vocals, maybe a duet then maybe she would "Want To Be With You". Seriously, he and the band are still sooo hot.

I was just watching the 6/22 show and no bald spot is a good bald spot and I know, you were probably born with the bald areas on your front noggin.
You mentioned Thomas Jefferson this time and I would like to remind you that he was the grand schemer in the first recorded "con-job" on the American people. I am sure you already know what it is but incase you do not I will be happy to reveal the facts to you upon request.

    NATION TO STEPHEN!

The Report! Baghdad! Newsweek! Twitter feeds! And that’s just this week. Thanks to you, satire has become sexy. Business suits are hot, and come in camouflage. Even the ear endears. Booyah!
But Stephen! You quiver like a caffeine jag. You may “have the metabolism of a hummingbird,” but aren't you getting awfully thin? You look way more than ten years older than you did in Strangers With Candy wildly wound up and very, very tired. The jokes are there as always, but not so much the enjoyment.
Which brings us to Tonight’s Word: "Soften the Drive."
Stephen, we know you're there smart, fearless, decent, and funny. (And bent.) Everybody really really likes you! (Okay, maybe not White House press correspondents or Papa Bear.) You're using for good this amazing platform you’ve built, piece by piece, from sheer energy and creativity. (Not to mention a desperate need for attention.) You are what you always wanted to be: “homecoming queen.” (Also rich.)
But Stephen, don’t make Jerri Blank’s mistake by doing the wrong thing for the right reason. The Colbert Nation is not just listening for the high-pitched whirr of an always-on energator. (That’s right, look it up.) More intently, we’re fascinated by what is (was?) softer about you. Your teary uselessness when the president was elected. Your capacity to be embarrassed by coarseness (that scary Caitlin Flanagan) or rebuked by an unflappable soldier who earned her medal, mister. Tumbling. We liked the chubbiness you used to permit yourself. A little more gray would really be okay. And when, exactly what with the quickie string dance-off, the international travel, the commencement address, the ribbon cutting, the Christmas special, etc. etc. do “the beautiful and hot Mrs. Colbert” (now sadly “outed by terrorists”) and the Three Little Colberts actually see you in person? Wag of the finger.
Slow down, Stephen. It’s like Threat Down, only calmer and longer lasting. Run along now, have fun, and get some rest. We will still be here when you get back.

Hi, I'm the guy that applied to be Steven's senior citizen best friend which I proposed ; when he was looking for a new best black friend in the early days of his show. Although he rejected the idea I have been a loyal follower with the exception of a few hurricane that interrupted my viewing. I just wanted to say tha Steven was in this weeks copy of Military News with all praising him except for one rectum cavity. Keep up the great work, God Bless !

I write regarding the THE CHRIS BURNEY PROJECT

What we have done to help our soldiers and the kids in Afghanistan, for free, the government has spent Billons on, and none of it has touched the people we reach. Be a part of something.

Chris Burney of the 101st Airborne (having completed almost safely over 200 missions), and Founder and Motivation behind The Chris Burney Project; will be interviewed by the BBC 3/10/09 in Afghanistan prior to his rotation home to Ft. Campbell, KY. The interview will be about the project, it’s origins, it's aid to the children of Afghanistan, the hand off to the new team in Afghanistan, and the lives of his brothers-in-arms this project has saved.
For additional information on the project visit our website at
    www.thechrisburneyproject.org

Or if you have any questions you may email Lori Bennett project co-founder (stateside) at labennett@thechrisburneyproject.org or call 912-473-2160. If you are interested in interviewing Chris, prior to his departure home, please email cburney@thechrisburneyproject.org or christopherbur@msn.com

    Thank you
    Lori A Bennett
    Executive Director/Co-Founder

PS - Chris & I have a deal, I got Lewis Black to support our project and send out bulletins and a web letter with the help of his web administrator, Traci Gilland, so if you decide to do a story, I get to be the guest, cause I believe I am more the smart***, although Chris believes he is. How about both of us???
